The curious case of Sardar

Location: kingfisher flight pune to delhi

                                                Screen flashing in front of the seats makes the sardar curious

Below is the actual conversation that took place, went to "heights" as we talked on. A surd (sardar) started the conversation after he saw the above screen.

Surd (curiously): How can the temperature be that low? They are lying!!
Me (chuckles): why wud they lie sir, it really is, at this height

Surd: I have been to heights, a temperature of -3 makes u shiver like hell. How can one survive this!!
Me: that's outside temperature sir, there is this covering of high tensile material which is protecting us

Surd: But this is a glass window, how can it protect us that much...don't u feel cold at home even when there are glass windows...no way, I can't believe this
Me (taking it to the front): sir, have a look at the altitude we are flying at. Its more than 10,000 m, more than that of mount everest. Mount everest do have a temperature of -45. That proves, I guess.

Surd (innocently): but there is snow all over the place at mount everest, not like here, its fucking hot in pune...!!
Me: (poker face) !!!

Moral: Jaise loha lohe ko kaat-ta hai waise hi ek chutiye se baat karne ke liye chutiya chahiye hota hai !!
